Labradas sobre la restinga, en las primeras décadas de 1900. Funcionaron como depósitos de cueros de lobos marinos, de grasa y de sal. Posteriormente, tuvo muchos usos: lugar de refugio y de acampe, de reunión, donde se compartían mates e historias, y como vivienda transitoria que se prestaba entre familias del pueblo. Tuvieron puertas, llaves, candados y distintas rejas.
THE CAVE BELOW
Carved on the sandbank, in the first decades of the 1900. It functioned as deposits for sea lion skins, fat and salt. Later, it had many uses: a place of refuge and camping, a meeting place, where “mates” and stories were shared, and as a temporary home for the families of the town. They had doors, keys, padlocks and different bars.
